Europe, USA, New Album, Argh.

Hello my dears.

I believe that today is Wednesday. I also believe that we are in the month of May. I hope I am right.

The last 3 months have been absolutely nuts, and it hasn’t stopped yet.

It all started in February when I was slaving away over my laptop getting all the artwork finished for my new album, designing merch, sending out posters and ordering merch and CD’s with money that didn’t exist (thank god for credit cards and good friends). Once that was done I spent 100% of March writing peoples addresses on envelopes, signing guitar picks, albums and postcards, and writing personal poems all for the amazing people who pledged their money towards my Kickstarter Campaign. Then April suddenly came around, and before I knew it I was on a flight to Europe, where I played 27 gigs in 30 days in 6 different Countries, promoting my forthcoming album “I Don’t Believe You” which comes out on May 31st. It was so much fun, and I made so many amazing friends. Suddenly, May arrived. May began in Amsterdam where I was finishing off my tour with Jay Nash. Jay and I celebrated Queens Day in Amsterdam and then headed south for second, then back up through the wonderful country of Germany, hitting Cologne, Hamburg and then ending our tour in Berlin. Finally last week I made it back to the UK to see my Mum for the first time in 12 months, where I am writing from now.

Next week I’m heading down to London to play two very exciting shows. The first one is at The Apple Store on Regent Street in London, on 24th May at 7pm. Then I’m having an official CD Release Party at The Bedford on 26th May where I will be officially selling my new album. Both gigs are FREE. Why don’t you come on over, ey? ey?

Just when I thought I could take a break, I was wrong! The day after my CD release party, I’m getting on the tube and heading to Heathrow airport… Next stop… New York! HOME! I’ll be rehearsing for a few days, and then officially releasing my album on May 31st by throwing another CD release party at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 in Manhattan at 7:30pm.

Over?? Hell no! At 9am, the morning after my CD release party in New York I’ll be in a cab on the way to JFK airport, and boarding a flight to Los Angeles! Then, I’ll be rehearsing with a totally different band for the first time, and then throwing ANOTHER official CD release party at Room 5 in Hollywood on June 3rd at 8pm!

Then I will spend the week in LA having meetings, sleeping when I can, and riding my bike. THEN, I will go home back to New York and rest, while I can.

Welcome to the current life of Greg Holden. I hope I will see some of you at the upcoming gigs. Here are some pictures of the last couple of months..
